Damiere Byrd has signed with a new team
Damiere Byrd has reached an agreement with the Atlanta Falcons on a one-year deal, per Jeremy Fowler.
That now marks the 3rd player from the 2021 Bears team to sign with the Falcons. The first two players are RB Damien Williams and CB Teez Tabor.
Let me remind you that former Bears general manager, Ryan Pace is now with the Falcons. This is probably not a coincidence...
Damiere Byrd played pretty well for the Bears in 2021. He was active for all 17 games and started 4 of them. He hauled in 26 catches for a total of 329 yards and a touchdown.
While the numbers are far from amazing, he made two huge plays that impacted the games in a big way. You can see both plays below.
We thank you for your solid work in Chicago. It will be interesting to see if he can have success in Atlanta!
