The Chicago Bears and general manager Ryan Pace made a very interesting move when they signed former Green Bay Packer Ha Ha Clinton-Dix earlier this week. The signing definitely helps ease the blow of losing both Adrian Amos and Bryce Callahan to free agency. Clinton-Dix is a very smart veteran player who knows the division well and should have no problem fitting into Chuck Pagano's defense, He made it clear, he's coming to Chicago because what's going on is special. "This is a special defense. This is a special core. If you ask me, Chicago was an Eddie Jackson playoff appearance away from winning a Super Bowl last year."
He added that he left more money on the table elsewhere to come join the Bears and Jackson was a big part of bringing him over. «Eddie played a big role,» Clinton-Dix said. «He's always been a fan of mine since he came to Alabama. He talked to me in this process about the culture in Chicago and I bought in. I was on for the ride, and I'm excited about it.»
