BREAKING: Bears Sign TE Cole Kmet to a HUGE Deal
As reported by top sports reporter Adam Schefter, Bears tight end Cole Kmet has signed a 4-year, $50 million extension, that also includes a guaranteed $32.8 million and $20 million in new first-year cash:
Kmet was drafted by the Bears in 2020, and has played with the team since. His best year came last season, with 544 receiving yards and an impressive 7 touchdowns.
Kmet has been an underrated team member since being drafted, but this new deal shows that the organization appreciates him and has high hopes for his growth.
Kmet has been apart of this Bears team through the ups and downs, and is now apart of the improved side. Because of the needed changes that the Bears made this offseason, we should be seeing an even bigger improvement from Kmet, as his whole team will be shining even brighter in the 2023 season.
