"After news broke early this morning that the Chicago Bears had signed free agent wide receiver Allen Robinson, it looks like general manager Ryan Pace is ready to keep spending. According to multiple sources, the Bears will sign free agent tight end Trey Burton formerly of the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport both report the deal is for four years and $32million. Burton should be a great fit for new offensively creative head coach Matt Nagy as Burton is experienced at playing QB in trick plays. While the move might hurt sophomore TE Adam Shaheen, it definitely helps QB Mitch Trubisky as he'll have some great new weapons at WR and TE. Robinson and Burton will be able to put up great numbers if Cam Meredith and Kevin White can stay healthy and Trubisky continues to grow. Burton was in high demand and some even had him ranked higher than Jimmy Graham as best TE available during free agency.
