BREAKING: Antonio Brown Refusing To Leave His Home As Police Attempt To Serve Arrest Warrant For Domestic Violence
TAMPA, Fla. - A warrant for former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been issued, and Tampa Police spent at least an hour trying to get him to come out of the house.
ABC Action News had a crew at the scene where police used a megaphone to call out to Brown to come out of the house. Police told Brown they'd already spoken with his attorney. After using the megaphone, they continued to call out to Brown with their voices while knocking on the door.
At one point, Tampa Police yelled at Brown, "we're not going anywhere."
Brown was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Jan. 6 after he jogged off the field against the New York Jets, displaying erratic behavior, including throwing his shirt and gloves into the stands. Brown has not suited up for another team and has been focusing on his music career.
Brown has had several previous run-ins with the law. Last month he was ordered to pay $1.2 million to a Broward County moving truck driver after he was arrested for assaulting the driver, for which Brown pleaded no contest.
