Bill Belichick had an hilarious response to a question regarding Mac Jones' injury...
New England Patriots HC Bill Belichick is known for offering very few details in his answers to the media. Of course, Wednesday's press conference was no different.
Indeed, Belichick was asked about the status of Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, who's dealing with a high ankle sprain that's expected to sideline him for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
Belichick, in his 23rd season with the Pats, repeatedly pushed back on questions about the leg injury, incurred during Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens, that is expected to keep the second-year pivot out of multiple games. The six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach repeated multiple times that the team will be taking Jones's injury "day by day."
«Day by day,» Belichick stated when asked if Jones had a high ankle sprain. «What do I look like, a doctor? An orthopedic surgeon? I don't know, talk to the medical experts.»
