After playing under Nick Saban at the University of Alabama, Eddie Jackson has made a big splash since entering the NFL. He played defensive and wide receiver back at Boyd H. Anderson High School in Florida. As a senior, he had 37 receptions for 792 yards 66 tackles, and five interceptions on defense.
He was predicted to be a third-round pick in the draft after some injuries in college left people wondering. He couldn't participate in the combine due to a broken leg earlier that year.
The Bears took him in 2017 in the fourth round of the draft and signed him to a 3.06 million dollar, 4-year contract.
Since then he's been a force to be reckoned with in Chicago, he's seen a few regime changes and is a good leader in the locker room. With the new season upon us I'm excited to see what he can do in the new scheme.
