"Linebackers Brian Urlacher and Ray Lewis will be headlining a very talented Hall of Fame class this August, so it make perfect sense to have the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens meet in the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, OH.
The NFL officially announced this morning that the Bears and Ravens will kick off the 2018 preseason schedule on August 2 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. This will be Bears fans first chance to get a look at new head coach Matt Nagy and his staff.
The Bears will play five preseason games this year, which is welcomed with a new head coach in his first job. The extra game will serve well as a new era of Bears football begins.
This will be the fifth time the Bears will play in the Hall of Fame game, they have won all four of their previous trips. They were scheduled to play the Rams back in 2011 when Richard Dent was inducted into the Hall of Fame, but that game was cancelled due to a brief lockout.
