Bears rookie WR was hidden a very sad, deep secret during his college days
The Chicago Bears shocked a lot of people a few months ago when they selected WR Velus Jones in the 3rd round. Jones was especially a surprise because of his older age (25 yo). However, make no mistake about it, he can play football!
Like so many other Americans, Velus health with some mental health issues in his life. While interviewing for the Chicago Bears� «Meet The Rookies» series on YouTube, Jones revealed that he was battling depression at the time, breaking out into tears at random moments. He never told anybody about it. Not his family, not his friends, and not his coaches.
