Bears kicker Santos opens up on new Soldier Field's grass.
It was reported on Monday that the grass on Soldier Field was being replaced with Bermuda grass less than a week before the Chicago Bears open their season versus the San Francisco 49ers.
However, no need to worry since the new Bermuda grass has the capacity to be played on immediately upon its installment.
Well, it looks like some players are glad about the changes.

Indeed, Kevin Fishbain reported that Bears PK Cairo Santos kicked on Bermuda grass when he was in Kansas City. He likes that the shorter grass allows him to see more of the football.
"The Bermuda is a better grass to kick in this cold. If you can grow it and protect it, then it's a great thing."
Santos kicked on uneven surfaces at a high school near his home and prepared for Soldier Field's conditions if the field is not perfect on Sunday.
"I learned last year," Santos said back in early August. "There were spots yesterday that we noticed and we talked about with Trent[on] [Gill] because he's new. Look, if we have a field goal right here, we have to move it maybe off the hash. Or maybe on the field more, inside the hash more, just to get away from this hole."
