Bears hired a new strength and conditioning coach.
On Friday, the Bears hired Jim Arthur as their new head strength and conditioning coach.
He had previously been with the Bears from 2005-15. He has had the same role as the strength and conditioning coach for 7 of these years. The Bears won three NFC North championships and one conference title during the time he was employed in Chicago.
After he left the Bears, he spent over 6 years with the Miami Dolphins. Arthur, 43, has a lot of experience in the NFL and he will hopefully do great things with the Bears.
The most important part of his job is yes, to get the players stronger and faster but he has to concentrate on injuries prevention and recuperation.
