Bears HC announces honorary captain of the week for Week 5!
Prior to the start of the season, Chicago Bears' head coach Matt Eberflus announced Justin Fields, Cody Whitehair, Robert Quinn, and Roquan Smith as permanent captains for the year. He also announced there would be a rotating honorary captain each week.
Well, in Week 5, it will be defensive lineman Justin Jones who will serve this role. Jones is currently in his first season in Chicago and he has been one of the bright spots on this team so far. He is playing nicely and he is also a great leader that is beloved by his teammates.
Let me remind you that the Bears are facing the Vikings on Sunday in Minnesota.
