Bears GM Reveals what the Team Needs In Exchange for CB Jaylon Johnson
Before the trade deadline passed, Bears CB Jaylon Johnson requested to be traded away from the team, and the Bears attempted to fulfill his wish. However, they were unsuccessful, and Johnson remains in Chicago.
As revealed on Wednesday, the Bears were looking for either a first or second round draft pick in exchange for their CB, but the offers were not satisfactory for GM Ryan Poles:
Though trade talks could still emerge at the end of the season, the Bears are likely to offer a long-term extension to Johnson, and if the price fits his needs, then Johnson should remain a Bear for a long time.
