Bears bringing in an edge rusher for a workout!
We know that even though a big chunk of the off-season is behind us, GM Ryan Poles is far from done when it comes to upgrading the Bears roster.
Well, here is a Tweet from Bears writer Jacob Infante showing another example of that:
The Bears are bringing in Texas Southern EDGE Michael Badejo for a workout next week, per source.
Badejo was an HBCU All-American last year, and Chicago did plenty of homework on him pre-draft.
Badejo is 6"2 and weighs 265 pounds. Although he is on the shorter side at 6"2, he displays surprising explosiveness and strength for a defensive end. His 4.80 in the 40-yard dash and 19 reps in the bench press demonstrated just that.

It will be interesting to see if he is able to earn himself an invite to training camp because as we all know, once you get to training camp, anything is possible for these guys!
