The Chicago bears are not finished yet. After a busy Thursday signing Tavon Young and Ryan Griffen to the team per Bears insider, Brad Biggs the team also had former Cowboys and Chiefs LB Anthony Hitchens in for a visit.
Outside of Roquan Smith, linebacker is a need of the Bears. Hitchens has familiarity inside Halas Hall. Head Coach Matt Eberflus was the Linebacker Coach in Dallas during Hitchens' first two seasons as a Cowboy. The veteran linebacker also was with GM Ryan Poles on the Chiefs during the past four seasons.
Hitchens has started over 100 games in the league and nearly has 700 career tackles. In Dallas, Hitchens has familiarity playing in the same system and good be added to the mix to break the starting lineup. This could be an excellent under-the-radar move by the Bears if signed to compliment Roquan Smith.
