Bears are signing a new safety

Ian Rapoport reported that the Chicago Bears are brining in help in order to fill the void left by Eddie Jackson. Indeed, he reported that Adrian Colbert is on his way to the Bears.

Colbert (6-2, 205, #32) is a veteran of 39 NFL games (22 starts) over five NFL seasons with San Francisco (2017-18), Miami (2019), New York Giants (2020), Cleveland (2021), New York Jets (2021). His career numbers include 109 tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 11 special teams stops. Colbert entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection by the 49ers in the 2017 NFL Draft. As a college player, he spent four years at the University of Texas and his final season at the University of Miami (Fla.).
