Bears are re-signing veteran on a one-year deal!
Tom Pelissero reported that the Chicago Bears have re-signed veteran long snapper Patrick Scales to a one-year, $1,272,500.
The Kentucky native has been in the NFL for 7 seasons and 6 of them with the Bears. He is one of the longest-tenured players on the squad.
He is highly respected amongst his peers and he is a great veteran presence in the locker room.
While it is not a massive signing by Ryan Poles, it's still a start. Time to take care of real business now...
