Antonio Brown Blames Former NFL Player For Giving Him CTE While Wearing Illegal Helmet
The ongoing saga of former Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiver, Antonio Brown, continues to astound with its idiosyncratic twists and turns. The latest development took form in an Instagram Live video in which Brown stated that his former teammate, James Harrison, delivered a heavy impact with an illicit helmet, which he claims resulted in his present-day aggressive behavior.
Brown alleges, "I believe James Harrison gave me Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) due to his illegal helmet usage over two decades in the NFL. I was struck by him once, and ever since that day, I've exhibited an excessive level of aggression. Hence, I attribute my CTE to James Harrison."
It has become increasingly challenging to determine the veracity of Brown's statements as he appears to be uncertain about the authenticity of his own claims. The assertion that Harrison wore an unlawful helmet for a duration exceeding 20 years in the NFL is remarkable, especially given that Harrison had a 16-year career in the league.
