Another new coach is on the way to Chicago!
Ian Rapoport announced that Travis Smith, who was with the las Vegas Raiders for the last 10 years will be joining the Bears' coaching staff. He will serve as the defensive line coach.
The Raiders' defensive line was actually the number one defensive line ranked, per PFF. This is an amazing pick-up for the Bears. Matt Eberflus continues his solid start as a head coach. He has built a great staff around him.
Smith will try to mix his coaching skills with some amazing talent in Robert Quinn, Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks. Let's hope he will be able to be a key part of a dominant defense in 2022.
