Another former Bears player joins the Falcons!
The official Atlanta Falcons Twitter page reported that they have signed DL Khyiris Tonga to their practice squad. Tonga was recently let go by the Bears.
Tonga is the latest of several players that went from the Bears to the Falcons. All of these players were brought in by the former general manager Ryan Pace.
Pace drafted the 6-foot-4, 338-pound former BYU player in the 7th round last year. He played in 15 games and ended up with 24 total tackles.
Pace is currently working in their personnel department, and the Falcons also have his predecessor as GM, Phil Emery, as a scout.
