Albert Breer shared his 5 biggest takes on the Bears' training camp so far!
Albert Breer who was present for the Bears practices so far Tweeted out his 5 biggest takes from the practices so far.
here is what he had to say:
5 biggest takes from @ChicagoBears camp so far!
1) The DBs = a pleasant surprise. Rookies Jaquan Brisker (who already looks like a complete S) and Kyler Gordon have meshed with vets Eddie Jackson and Jaylon Johnson.
2) Darnell Mooney's quickness, elusiveness, ability to adjust ... as advertised.
3) Justin Fields has already made strides with his footwork, picking up the new language. He's impressed the new staff with his drive. Deep ball looks good too.
4) The OL is, as expected, an area that needs some sorting out. Rookies Braxton Jones, Zachary Thomas are in the mix.
5) The biggest question on defense right now is at LB, with Roquan Smith and not a ton of depth there. Matt Adams and Joe Thomas are fighting for playing time at the SAM spot, and it's not impossible that the Bears could comb the waiver wire for help down the line.
I loved what he said about QB Justin Fields and I feel like this is so crucial if the Bears want to have any kind of success this season. This is also on par why what we have heard so far from every source present at Hallas Hall. Fields has looked like a different QB this year and I can't wait for him to show it during real live game action in a few weeks.
