Angelo Blackson is a name not many Bears fans might know. Blackson has played in 102 games with 38 starts for the Titans, Texans, Cardinals, and Bears; entering his eighth NFL season and second with the Bears in 2022. He was originally selected by the Titans in the fourth round (100th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.
In 2021, he appeared in all 17 games (eight starts) and recorded 42 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a safety, and 2 PDs to his credit (through Week 17). He also greatly contributed to the Bears' success in the Week 2 win vs. the Bengals by notching his first NFL career INT off of QB Joe Burrow; he also recorded three tackles and one QBH.
Although he is by no mean a star, Blackson could contribute to the Bears' revamped interior defensive line in 2022.
