While the Bears do have a few positions where they have a pretty good amount of talent, the wide receiver position is clearly not one of them. There is no two ways about it, the Bears' WRs are not up to standards at the moment.

Well, Prof Football Focus' Doug Kyed might have a solution for the bears, or at least part of it. Here is what he wrote in his latest article.

CHICAGO BEARS: SIGN WR EMMANUEL SANDERS

The Bears are dead last in Ben Linsey's wide receiver corps rankings. Sanders is no longer in the prime of his career at 35 years old, but he would help solidify the unit for second-year quarterback Justin Fields.

In 2014, Sanders would sign with the Denver Broncos where his career would really take off playing with Peyton Manning. Despite never earning more than 740 yards in a season with the Steelers, Sanders became an instant Pro Bowler in Denver — earning 101 receptions for 1,404 yards and 9 touchdowns in his first season on the Broncos, via Pro Football Reference.

Remarkably, Sanders has played on five different NFL teams and has earned roughly $68 million in his career, according to Over the Cap.

While Sanders is not the same player he once was, he still earned 77 percent of total offensive snaps from the Buffalo Bills last season while putting up 626 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns.

Sanders would be an ideal short-term addition for a Bears team needing both veteran leadership and wide receiver production.
