All season long, the buzz has been around the Bears potentially drafting USC QB Caleb Williams in 2024. There has been talks of him going number 1, and analysts see star quality in him.

Ahead of the "Holiday Bowl," Williams elected to sit out, as many players decide to due so to avoid injures in preparation for the draft. In his absence, USC named redshirt sophomore Miller Moss as the starter.

This bowl game was Moss' first ever career start, and he put on a show.

In USC's win, Moss went 22/33, threw for 372 yards, along with a USC bowl game record with 6 touchdowns. He did this all in his first ever start.

Now, after seeing this mind blowing performance, it makes me wonder: is Williams seen as a top QB due to the system? If a team can make a player who had never started before look like a legend, what does that make Williams? This game worries me for how Williams will adapt in the NFL, especially if he comes to the Bears.

The Bears have a sloppy o-line and the system is a bit of a mess. Not sure Williams will be able to fix the issues, and this game further proves that point.
