8 key players were absent from Saturday's practice

Players that didn't practice today: Kyler Gordon, Velus Jones Jr., Byron Pringle, Duke Shelley, Kindle Vildor, James O'Shaughnessy, Dante Pettis, Angelo Blackson.

One of the most important aspects of training camp in the NFL is to try to avoid injuries as much as possible. While minor issues will always happen in those weeks, you'd like for nothing really serious to happen to players.

With that being said, here is a list of 8 players that didn't practice today:

Kyler Gordon

Velus Jones Jr

Byron Pringle

Duke Shelley

Kindle Vildor

James O'Shaughnessy

Dante Pettis

Angelo Blackson.

This is not great news for the team. On this list, you can see multiple players that are expected to have a pretty big role come Week 1. Hopefully, most of these are in fact minor issues.
