4 players received $100k just to show up to the voluntary workout yesterday!
If there's one thing that's for sure, it's that the NFL is a very lucrative business. Well, yesterday we got another example of that.
Daniel Greenberg reported that Eddie Jackson, Al-Quadin Muhammad, Cody Whitehair, and Lucas Patrick all received $100,000 today as part of their contracts for showing up to the Chicago Bears voluntary offseason workout program. In addition to that, Justin Jones received $50,000.
I'd say that this is pretty solid just for showing up to a day of work!
Hopefully, this can maybe motivate Eddie Jackson a little bit more. While he is still a very talented player, he truly seemed not to care last year. On so many occasions, it looks like he did not even want to play. With a new coaching staff, he will have a chance to wipe the slate clean and rejuvenate his career!
Here are two examples of plays where Jackson completely stopped playing and did not even try! Let's leave that in 2021, shall we?
