Justin Fields receives massive last-minute promotion

Justin Fields had been named the backup quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers while Russell Wilson was named as the starter.

However, Wilson suffered a calf injury recently and it put his status for today in jeopardy. Well, according to Ian Rapoport, it is highly likely that Fields ends up getting the start. This is a huge promotion for him, and an opportunity that could prove to be a career-changer.

Fields will have his work cut out for him. However, the Falcons are a team that was not great last season. With Kirk Cousins at QB, they will be a lot better and it may just be a shootout.
