The Chicago Bears took Caleb Williams 1st overall in this years draft and they are hoping he will take them out of the basement in regards to QB stats in the Super Bowl era.
Since the first Super Bowl the Bears rank dead last in QB completion percentage, passing yards, TD-Int ratio, passer rating and yards per game.
Williams is taking over the reigns from Justin Fields who many hopes would be the savior but now it is Williams turn.
Williams is taking the reins over from Justin Fields, with the two being the sixth and fifth quarterbacks, respectively, who the Bears have used a first-round pick on in the Common Draft Era.

The Bears new QB put up incredible numbers at USC winning the Heisman trophy in 2022 and was the first QB since Patrick Mahomes with 30+ TDs and 10+ rushing TD in college football.
Hopefully Williams will live up to the hype but one thing is certain, he has a ton of pressure to perform in his first year.
