WATCH: Panthers QB Bryce Young Speaks on Bears Rookie Caleb Williams

Ahead of the 2023 draft last offseason, QB Bryce Young was the biggest prospect in the draft, but the Bears were not interested in him.

The Bears held the 1st pick at the 2023 draft, but decided to trade the pick away to the Panthers in exchange for WR DJ Moore and a few draft picks, which then became the 2024 1st overall and 9th overall.

With their 1st pick at the 2023 draft, the Panthers selected Young, but his rookie season was a disappointment, and the Panthers ended with the worst record in the league.

Due to their record, the Bears were able to snag the 1st pick at this years draft, which ultimately went to superstar prospect QB Caleb Williams.

Now, Young is speaking on Williams, who was the guy the Bears passed on Young for, and was recently asked about a potential "1 on 1" matchup:

As heard, Young only has great things to say, as he and Williams have known one another for a long time now. He doesn't feel like there is any form of "1 on 1" matchup and is excited for all the games this season.
