Teven Jenkins contract talks get disappointing update

Teven Jenkins has been a solid offensive guard for the Chicago Bears and heading into his fourth season, he is looking to extend his contract.
According to NBC Sports Chicago, Jenkins has outlined just how much he wants to stay in Chicago. However, the team appears to be in no rush to give him a deal. As he told reporters today, the team told him he has to wait until the bye week. From there, they will get back to him. However, this still leaves things up in the air.
"Last I was told, I've gotta wait until after the bye week to reconvene about it," Jenkins said
Jenkins is enthusiastic about coming back, and you can see how this predicament has left him a bit disappointed. Only time will tell whether or not the Bears play ball or decide to let him walk come next March.
Will Teven Jenkins be on the Chicago Bears roster next season? Let us know in the poll below. Additionally, stay tuned to Let's Bear Down for the latest news and updates from around the football world.
