Simon Biles Defends Husband, Chicago Bears DB, in New Interview
While on the "Call Her Daddy Podcast," superstar gymnast Simone Biles spoke about her husband: Chicago Bears DB Jonathan Owens:
Owens made some comments a few months back about his relationship with Biles that upset several viewers, as he called himself "the catch" of the relationship and revealed that he did not know who Biles was at the time they first met.
This moment went viral, and since then, Owens has received a ton of backlash.
Now, in this interview with Alex Cooper from "Call Her Daddy," Biles is sharing her side of this infamous moment, saying:
"I thought everything was okay, and then I go on Twitter and everybody's like ‘Divorce this man, he's mean.' And I'm like, ‘He's the sweetest.' He praises the ground that I walk on. Truly, I've never met a man like him."
Biles clearly did not agree with what viewers had to say and reveals that her relationship is still going strong.
Biles and Owens got engaged in February of 2022 and got married in April of 2023.
Owens signed with the Bears this offseason on a 2-year deal after spending 1 season on the Packers last season.
