Rome Odunze expected to earn huge role with Bears offense
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze was drafted 9th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, and the young star is already expected to earn a massive role with the team.
According to a report from ESPN, it was revealed that Odunze had been working out with Caleb Williams prior to the draft. Furthermore, ever since Bears camp started, Odunze has been making his presence felt. So much so that he could very well be the third-highest receiver on the depth chart once the season starts.
Head coach Matt Eberflus has been particularly complimentary of the rookie. He noted how Odunze prepares for games and how he is mature for his age. The rookie was even praised for just how good of a teammate he is. Needless to say, things are looking up for the Bears.
Only time will tell whether or not Odunze proves to be the players Bears fans hope for him to be.
