Jerry Angelo finally discusses the truth behind the Jay Cutler trade

The Bears made a massive trade in 2009 for QB Jay Cutler that some see as a bust but Jerry Angelo does not.
Angelo was on a podcast recently and says the trade was not a bust despite Cutler not having the success most fans hoped for when he was acquired.
The Bears former GM stated that the reason things did not work out for Cutler is because he did not have enough weapons surrounding him. He added that he wasted Cutler's first 3 years in Chicago believing the team was solid enough and did not need anything new.
Despite Cutler never leading the Bears to glory, he is still the franchise's all-time leader in multiple categories such as passing yards, passing touchdowns and led the team to the NFC championship in 2010.
