Jaylon Johnson has been with the Chicago Bears for four seasons now, and he knows that the expectations have never been higher than in 2024.
However, throughout the last few years, the Bears are always being talked about in terms of their potential. This is especially true right now thanks to draft picks like Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze. Throw in free agency pick-ups like Keenan Allen and you have yourself elevated hopes.
Well, while speaking with ESPN, Johnson came out and said that he is tired with hearing about the team's potential. Instead, he just wants to see the team go out and play high-level football. In his mind, the team certainly has the talent to do so.
"I feel like I've been on some talented rosters to where we've had a lot of upside," Johnson said. "I feel like for me it's one of those things where I'm tired of just having upside and having potential. I want to be in a position where we actually go out there and we are that and not just what we're projected to be at."
Let us know what you think of the Bears' chances of making the playoffs this season, in the poll below. Additionally, stay tuned to Let's Bear Down for the latest news and updates from around the football world.
