Insider believes one of Williams biggest faults in actually a strength

Insiders have been criticizing Bears QB Caleb Williams game since last season due to how much time he spends holding onto the ball.
While some believe this is a bad thing, insider Trevor Sikkema believes this is one of his strengths. Williams holds onto the ball the same amount of time as everyone else when a play runs smoothly but his time is longer because when a pocket breaks down he makes sure to find the right play.
"Now, where you get the massive time to throw average, as a hole, is when the play breaks down, he is moved off his spot or he is scrambling and the reason why he holds the ball longer than anybody else is because he knows: One, the ball is best in his hands; Two, like we've talked about on this show, if he doesn't score a touchdown on every single drive his team probably is not winning the game because his defense is that bad."
When Williams was at USC, he had no choice but to hold onto the ball and try to score a touchdown every play since their defense was not good and if he didn't run up the score, they would likely lose.
