George McCaskey delivers brutally honest thoughts on Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams is embarking on his first season with the Chicago Bears and the expectations have truly never been higher than they are right now.
Having said that, Bears chairman George McCaskey recently came out and made some interesting comments in an effort to calm those expectations down a tad. Essentially, they want to give Williams room to grow and make mistakes.
"Typically, the No. 1 pick in the draft comes into a situation where it's going to take a while for things to come together. Caleb's got a lot of support -- a solid defense, good receivers, good offensive line, a good running game, tight ends. But I hope people will be patient. There are going to be growing pains. He's going to make mistakes. That's part of the learning process for any young quarterback."
It is smart to be cautious with a rookie as you don't want them to feel overwhelmed. Having said that, fans are going to be expecting some great things from Williams.
