Chicago Bears terminate yet another skill position player

Today, the Chicago Bears decided to make some huge decisions about their roster with the NFL season starting in just about a week from now.

One of their biggest announcements was made by the team's public relations department. As you can see down below, they have gotten rid of Tight End Tommy Sweeney. The vested veteran has had his contract terminated.

Sweeney was previously with the Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, there was just not enough space for him on the roster. Hopefully, he is able to land on his feet elsewhere.
