Caleb Williams & Keenan Allen are already building otherworldy chemistry

Caleb Williams and Keenan Allen are currently in the midst of building their chemistry as training camp began on Saturday.
In a new report from Sportsnet, Allen described how he and Williams have been learning the Bears playbook. While Allen does learn through trial and error, he notes that Williams and himself have gone through the plays while watching the NBA Playoffs. Needless to say, the two are getting along on and off the field.
«I'm not a guy who masters the playbook by any means sitting at home just looking at the playbook,» Allen said. «That's not how I learn it. I'm a trial and error guy. I learn through mistakes. Just being able to sit there with him, he'd call out the play, I'd draw it up, vice versa, while we're sitting there watching the NBA playoffs.»
As for Williams, he echoed many of those sentiments. For instance, during dinners, Allen would give him advice about plays. He was also able to spread the wisdom of Philip Rivers and Justin Herbert.
«We'd be sitting down just eating dinner and playing cards and then we'd have a break and rattle off some plays and that was when I was first learning, and he'd kind of have an idea of what the play was,» Williams said. «So it's nice having people like that around.»
