According to a report, the Bears and Giants came close to finalizing a massive deal at the NFL draft.
It seems like if Marvin Harrison and Malik Nabers were gone prior to the 6th pick, the Bears were going to trade up from 9th to 6th for a 3rd and 4th round pick as well.
If Marvin Harrison and Malik Nabers were gone at 6, #DaBears had a deal in place with Giants to move up to 6 from 9 for a 3rd and 4th round pick with Giants sending back a 5th.....
Giants thought it was for a tackle (Joe Alt).

If the deal would have gone through, the Giants would have looked into taking either Odunze or Bowers with the 9th pick.
