Bears finally disclose why they did not sign veteran QB for Caleb Williams

Bears fan were surprised the team did not end up signing a veteran QB to pair with Caleb Williams in his rookies season.

According to reports, it seems the reasoning behind that was because of the issues it caused in the past. Mike Glennon was supposed to be Mitch Trubisky's mentor but refused the role after he felt they did not tell him they would take a QB at the draft. Justin Fields on the other hand disliked Andy Daulton since he felt he was missing out on snaps that Daulton was taking instead.

Hopefully the Bears made the right decision but at the same time out of the 3 rookie QBs, Williams is by far the most NFL ready heading into his first season.
