Bears and Texans slated to clash in 2024 Hall of Fame Game

The 2024 NFL preseason will commence with the Bears and Texans squaring off in Canton, Ohio, for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.

This traditional preseason opener coincides with the Hall of Fame's induction ceremonies, typically featuring teams connected to members of the incoming Hall of Fame class. Andre Johnson's induction marks a milestone as the first player primarily associated with the Texans to receive a bust in Canton. Additionally, former Bears Devin Hester, Steve McMichael, and Julius Peppers are part of the esteemed class of 2024.

Completing the Class of 2024 are Dwight Freeney, Randy Gradishar, and Patrick Willis.

Scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 1, the Hall of Fame Game precedes the induction ceremony slated for Saturday, August 3.
