The Chicago Bears for the most part are healthy at training camp however there's one face missing.

Tight end Trey Burton has missed his third consecutive practice as he's recovering from his offseason sports hernia surgery.

At this point, it's unlikely that Burton will participate in any preseason games which could leave him a little rusty going into the season.

“It's not a setback,” Bears coach Matt Nagy said. “It's, more of, for us, I'm trying to protect him a little bit. I need him and we need him 100 percent for Week 1.”

“I said it the other day; he didn't do a lot with the surgery and everything for five months. It's hard to come back and just be thrust in and try to look like yourself. We're trying to slowly do it. We'll pick it up. We'll start getting him more reps as we go here. But I'm protecting him right now.”

To make matters worse, fellow tight end Adam Shaheen has been dealing with a back injury during training camp.
