The bad news just continues to roll in for the Chicago Bears.

Earlier today it was revealed that quarterback Mitch Trubisky suffered a shoulder injury during this weekend's game against the New Orleans Saints.

NFL insider Mike Garafolo broke the news.

"Bears QB Mitch Trubisky suffered a shoulder injury on Sunday against the Saints, sources say. Evaluations ongoing. Trubisky came in for a play in the first quarter, kept the ball on a read option, was tackled by LB Alex Anzalone."

The insider provided a bit of an update for us even though head coach Matt Nagy didn't reveal any details today.

"I'm told the expectation is he'll be sidelined for at least a few weeks. They have two more games and then a bye, so the expectation is he'll be out until late this month at least." Garafolo reports."

Pretty tough break for Trubisky who will more than likely be playing for a different team next year.
