It was really disappointing to see the Chicago Bears lose to the Green Bay Packers last weekend but the football gods shined down on Chicago and the Bears have snuck into the playoffs.

While the game was tight at times, it eventually unravelled and the Packers controlled game flow.

One of the most embarrassing plays came in the second quarter when Packers QB Aaron Rodgers hooked up with Marquez Valdez-Scantling for a 72 yard touchdown when the Bears were up 10-7.

While appearing on the Pat McAfee show on Tuesday, Rodgers said the touchdown was pretty easy when he read the field.

"The reason for the timing on the play was that Robert Quinn was having a conversation with Trevathan during that play," Rodgers said. "And they couldn't decide what side he was supposed to be on. So I could tell that there was something a little messed up on defense ... I tried to quick snap on them because it looked like there was confusion on who had three vertical to the other side. And three vertical to us is Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who's one of the faster players in the league."
