It's been a very interesting week when it comes to Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.
Fangio has been named as a top candidate for a couple of head coaching gigs in the NFL and it looks like he might land one in the next couple of hours/days.
After initial reports had Pittsburgh Steelers OL coach Mike Munchak as the top candidate for the Denver Broncos job, it's now looking like it could actually be Fangio's job for the taking.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Broncos are close to making their decision and the odds are in Fangio's favour as the Broncos are very high on him.
Rapoport adds that Fangio is very interested in the job.
More to come as we follow this story closely.
Coaching update: The #Broncos will decide soon between #Bears DC Vic Fangio and #Steelers OL coach Mike Munchak for HC. Sources close to Fangio believe he is well-positioned to get it and he is very interested. Denver is high on him, as well, but hasn’t made a firm decision.
