It's been an injured riddled career for Chicago Bears guard Kyle Long.
After playing in 16,15 and 16 games in his first three years, Long has only played in 8, 10 and 8 games the last three years.
No player on the Bears roster aside from Sherrick McManis has been on the roster longer than Long, so being able to return from injury this season to play in the playoffs was great for Long.
While the Bears lost the game, Long had some good news to announce.
For the first time in what feels like forever, Long won't have any surgery this offseason.
“No knives for me in the offseason.”
One positive, Kyle Long tells us, “no knives for me in the offseason.” Long gets to head into a surgery-free offseason for the first time in a few years.
