The Chicago Bears were one of a handful teams that had a QB battle going into training camp and the preseason.
Unfortunately for Bears' fans, even though many believed Justin Fields outperformed Andy Dalton, Dalton was still named starter for Week 1.
With head coach Matt Nagy on the final year of his contract, we can expect Dalton to have a short leash and hopefully the opportunity to see Fields.
Whenever Fields does get into the lineup, it seems he's ready to light things up.
The Bears' QB posted on Instagram that "so many years our story has been about the defense. We want to change that narrative and have an explosive offense this year."
Fields added that "loves being part of a play and having the ball in my hands."
