Chicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky has been hated on pretty strongly for the last couple of months.
The criticism grew even more once the Bears acquired quarterback Nick Foles from the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Now people have pretty much put Trubisky to rest believing that Foles will be the Bears' starting QB.
However Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner doesn't believe Trubisky is done.
“Make sure you’re not sleeping on my boy, Mitch though,” Conner said on Barstool's Pardon My Take. “I think Mitch is going to come out hot this year. That’s my dog, I played Mitch [during] my senior year of high school. We’ve been going at it, you know Pitt vs. North Carolina, Steelers and Bears, even though I wasn’t playing that year…I know his work ethic, I know what he’s about to do so he’s going to come out fired up.”
While neither player played during the Bears-Steelers 2017 game, the last time the two played against each other during college Trubisky threw up 453 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions as he completed 35 of 46 passes.
What do you think of Conner's comments?
