Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson will be looking to prove he's one of the league's elite safties this season.
Jackson wants to take his game up a notch this season and doesn't want to hear anything about his defense maybe becoming complacent.
The 26 year old is signed through the 2020 season, however the Bears have already made it clear they don't want it to end then.
According to Jim Trotter of NFL.com, the Bears have already made it clear to Jackson that they want to open up contract extension talks as soon as he becomes eligible next summer.
It's absolutely great news as the Bears are putting together one of the hands down best defenses in the league.
