With a dynamic offense that still has a lot to prove, the Chicago Bears success will likely still rely on the team's defense.

Vic Fangio led the group last year to the top of the league as one of the premiere groups and new defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano is expected to keep it rolling.

While speaking on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Eddie Jackson said not only will the defense be top in the league but best in Bears' history.

"I’ll go right now for our defense to be No. 1 across the board. Shout out to the '85 Bears but we want to top everything they've done. We plan on taking this whole thing. We plan on winning the Super Bowl."

It's a pretty huge statement as the '85 defense is one of the greatest of all time not only in Chicago but in NFL history.

What do you think of Jackson's statement?
